Matthew is a daily practitioner of Yoga and meditation, in particular zazen meditation and Paramahamsa Yogananda’s Kriya Yoga. He received his B.A. in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh. Proficient in Sanskrit, he is a student of the Vedas and of the history of philosophy and religion in India, in particular yoga and tantra. 

He is currently finishing his herbalism apprentice hours with Olatakunboh Obasi and will begin giving  consultations in the fall. It is his hope to earn a degree in clinical psychology and use the wisdom of eastern philosophy and herbalism to heal the mind.

He will be teaching a two-part Mudra: Theory and Practice workshop series and 16-week courses on Sanskrit and Ancient Greek.
