Thai Massage: Intro and Theory
CE Hours: 4
The Intro to Thai Massage Theory and Demo class informs the student of the fundamental principles of Thai Massage Application. Theory includes the 10 Sen Sib lines or energy theory used in Thai Massage, the understanding of the elemental influence and an Introduction to the understanding of Dr. Jivaka and his impact on the Thai Massage Practice. The course will provide the student with a demonstration of some of the basic Thai Massage Techniques, basic routine and stretches. This course will prepare the student to understand what lies behind the principles of Thai Massage. Thai Massage is the “Lazy Man’s Yoga” as the therapist applies the client’s body into Yoga poses and stretches as well as working the Sen Sib lines in order to open the energy of the client and instigate the body’s ability to heal itself through the increased flow of energy.

Lotus Inspired, LLC is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.
